4 Keys to Peak Performance & Creating the Extraordinary- The 1st Power Question

Let me ask you a question…What do you want?

Clarity…..clarity is the very very first step to creating peak performance and extraordinary results in any area of your life & business.

Clarity on the outcome, the result, the vision & where you ultimately want to steer towards!

It doesn’t matter what part of your life you want to shift, transform, turn around, breakthrough or anything else…..

what helps high performers & inspirational Entrepreneurs do what they do at the highest level is they are outcome focused and clear.

They ask one powerful question that helps them refocus, create clarity & produce/get the best that they can from themselves.

They leverage the same powerful question when in conflict, stress, struggle, resistance, uncertainty or any moment where they feel truly tested.

The one question is….. What do you want?

So what do you want?

From this situation, what do you want?

From this meeting, this business opportunity, sales call, time with family, spending time with loved ones or during a difficult time….. What do you want?

As Tony Robbins says, ‘the quality of your life is a direct reflection of the quality of the questions you repeatedly ask yourself’

Most of the time, the reason we feel stressed or are even in a situation of conflict is because we are looking at the things we don’t want and asking unresourceful questions such as

why do these things happy to me? Why always me?

so take a moment to reflect on the power of What do you want?

What happens when you ask yourself that question…that’s right…your focus immediately begins to shift on to the things that are important to you.

Follow ‘What do you want’ up with ‘What Else?’ and notice what follows.

High Performers are crystal clear about the things that are important to them, their vision, how they want to live & what they want to feel.

Even in the most challenging situations, they have programmed their thinking and focus to re-allign to the very things that are most important in that very moment.

You see, leaders respond & others react.

So here is my question to you for today, what do you want?

What do you want from your business, this year, this quarter, this month?

What do you want from your career?

What do you want from your life?

What do you want from your current relationships?

What do you want from your family life?

What else do you want?

If you haven’t crafted a vision of how you want things to be, how will you ever create the things that are truly important to you.

Take some time today to get clear on what you truly want & then have the courage to ask ‘What Else?’

And keep repeating it until you feel you’ve really and truly connected with what is driving you!

What do you do after that…ask that question again, ‘what else?

I hope you enjoyed reading this article and I look forward to seeing you on part 2 of the 4 Steps to Peak Performance Series.

Until then, ask yourself ‘What do you want?’ and keep asking it again and again and again.
